This policy describes how Success Driving School processes your personal data: what data we collect, why, who it is shared with and what your rights are.
Data protection
Success Driving School SA attaches great importance to the protection of your privacy. The personal data collected on this website is processed in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
The data controller is Success Driving School SA, Rue Vallin 10, 1201 Geneva. For any question about your data, you can write to us at info@success-ds.ch.
Data collected
We collect the information that you send us voluntarily:
- when you fill in the contact form (name, e-mail, phone, message);
- when you book a course or buy a package (identity, contact details, registered participants, order details);
- when you create a student account (login details, order and credit history);
- when you book a driving lesson through our appointment-booking partner Setmore.
Online payments are processed by our payment providers (PostFinance Checkout for cards, PostFinance and Twint, as well as Stripe). Your banking details are transmitted directly to these providers in encrypted form: Success Driving School never has access to them and does not store them.
Some technical data is also collected automatically while you browse, in particular through cookies (see below).
Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit the website. They are used for the proper functioning of the site (cart, language, security, your student account session), to secure payments and, if you consent, to analyse traffic.
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies, category by category. You can change your choice at any time: manage my cookie preferences.

How your data is used
The information we collect is used to:
- process your bookings, orders and payments, and send you the corresponding confirmations;
- manage your student account, your course credits and your certificates;
- get back to you when you ask us to, by e-mail or by phone;
- comply with our legal obligations, in particular accounting obligations;
- improve the website and our services.
Your data is never sold, exchanged or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.
Retention and security
Your data is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, then for the periods required by our legal and contractual obligations, in particular the retention of accounting records. It is then deleted or anonymised.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: hosting in Switzerland, encrypted connection (HTTPS), web application firewall, restricted access and regular updates.
Disclosure to third parties
Your data is only disclosed to the service providers required for the operation of the website and of our services, within the limits of their tasks:
- Infomaniak Network SA (hosting, Switzerland);
- PostFinance Checkout and Stripe (payment processing);
- Setmore (appointment booking for driving lessons);
- our transactional e-mail tools (order and booking confirmations).
Some third-party content displayed on the website (OpenStreetMap and CARTO map tiles, Instagram posts, Google reviews) may involve the transmission of your IP address to these services when it loads.
Your rights
In accordance with the FADP, you have the right to access, rectify, delete and object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to request that it be handed over in a standard format.
To exercise these rights, write to us at info@success-ds.ch, enclosing proof of your identity. We will reply as soon as possible.
You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) if you consider that your rights are not being respected.
Changes
Success Driving School SA may adapt this page at any time, in particular if the website or the legislation changes. The version published on this page is authoritative.
