Step 1: First aid course

The first aid course (Samaritans), mandatory for any licence application. Valid for several years.

Prepare for your theory test with our classroom courses: traffic rules, signage, and real-life situations.

The basic knowledge test to be taken at the OCV examination center, on a computer.

Traffic theory: 8 mandatory hours before continuing training.

At your own pace, with a driving instructor. The number of lessons depends on your progress.

Step 8: Probationary licence (3 years)

Licence in hand! It's probationary for 3 years, and you must complete the 2-phase course (1 day) within 12 months of the exam.

Step 9: Probationary licence (3 years)

You're riding! The licence is probationary for 3 years: the 2-phase course (1 day) is mandatory within 12 months of the exam.
